Sculptural furniture for residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces, these pieces function as refined, usable objects while carrying the presence of carved stone—appearing ancient and monolithic, yet made through a custom process that replicates marble, allowing for fluid form, material depth, and effortless integration into lived environments.
Each object is cast using materials a variety of gypsum’s — including fine minerals and organic fragments — echoing fossils, seabeds, and eroded landscapes. The Strata Series blurs the line between natural history and contemporary design: furniture as artifact and sculpture made to inhabit space.
How it works:
Custom finishes and tones are selected based on your interior palette, material selections, and overall design direction. Simply share your project details — including dimensions, reference images, and any specific requests — to begin your custom piece. Each sculptural furniture piece is custom designed and scaled to the specific space it will inhabit. The process begins with a physical textural sample board, where organic, lime-based material expressions, volcanic surfaces, and varied aggregate densities are explored and selected. From this selection, a site-specific design is developed, translating the chosen textures into a functional sculptural form before the final piece is produced.
