Stone, reimagined.
These sculptural tables appear carved from ancient rock, but they’re built using a custom technique that replicates the look and feel of marble. They carry the weight and texture of solid stone — without the heaviness or constraints of carving from a single block. This process allows for more fluid, expressive forms and greater ease in how the pieces are made, moved, and lived with.
Each object is cast using materials a variety of gypsum’s — including fine minerals and organic fragments — echoing fossils, seabeds, and eroded landscapes. The Strata Series blurs the line between natural history and contemporary design: furniture as artifact and sculpture made to inhabit space.
